Curator’s note: ‘Five Women Dancing in a Circle.’ Challenging conventional philosophy on lighting and establishing, in a striking manner, a contemporary figurative language, the Muse Light, from the Roumelight lighting collection, is an eye-catching lighting accessory that heightens the senses and brings to any space a sense of high spirits, sophistication and exultation of joy.
Five stilettos painted with tar, in a circular arrangement, form a star in the centre which celebrates femininity and woman’s timeless allure when becoming a muse. The piece is suspended from metal braided chains, while the bases fashioned of barley sheet in black nickel that further endows austerity and a rather industrial character.
The lighting colour is warm white. There is ability of choosing different types of lighting (interior lighting in the shoes or lighting in the stilettos which is dimmable).
